Chris Drumgoole

Chris Drumgoole is a technology and business leader known for translating complex technology into clear, actionable business strategy. He serves as President of Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) at DXC Technology, where he leads the company’s largest business unit, responsible for operating, modernizing, and securing mission-critical technology infrastructure for many of the world’s largest enterprises and government organizations. With more than 25 years of experience spanning cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise operations, Chris is widely respected for his ability to simplify complexity, advise boards and executive teams, and drive outcomes that matter to customers.

At DXC, Chris oversees a global portfolio that includes cloud and infrastructure, modern workplace, networking, end-user services, and cybersecurity, as well as DXC’s global Defense and Intelligence business. His leadership philosophy is deliberately customer-centric—often described as unconventional in the corporate IT sector. He places customer experience at the core of technology delivery, famously blending hospitality-grade service principles into IT leadership and operations. Chris is frequently the “translator in the room,” bridging the gap between deeply technical teams and business leaders by focusing on what truly matters, why it matters, and how organizations should respond.

Chris’s career uniquely spans both early-stage, high-growth environments and the largest enterprises in the world. Prior to his current role, he served as Global CIO and CTO of GE, where he led global technology and cybersecurity for a $7B+ annual IT portfolio supporting operations in more than 170 countries. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Verizon’s Terremark business, helping to grow and integrate one of the world’s leading cloud and data center platforms following its $2B acquisition. This breadth, from fighting for relevance in emerging companies to operating at a massive global scale, has shaped a leadership style grounded equally in business pragmatism and technical depth.

Chris holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Pace University and has been recognized with numerous industry honors, including the Orbie Leadership Award and inclusion in the CIO 100 during his tenure as GE’s CIO. He serves on the Board of Directors of Kodiak Gas Services, the ONUG Board of Directors, and the Advisory Board for Florida International University’s College of Engineering & Computing. A lifelong technologist at heart, Chris is driven by a genuine love of complex systems and the challenge of making them work simply, securely, and at scale—for customers, teams, and the businesses they support.
